Health & Safety
If you are experiencing a crisis, call or text 988. Help is available 24/7.
If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911.
If you are not in crisis and need emotional support, visit the Certified Listener's Society here to connect with someone online.
Our in-person programming will operate with increased health & safety measures, including:
- Masks will not be mandatory but will be encouraged and highly recommended for those who are immunocompromised, at high risk, or who choose to still use them
- All Staff have access to multi-layer, reusable, cotton masks + medical grade disposable masks, face shields, and disposable gloves
- All materials and high-touch surfaces will be disinfected & sanitized (Brand: Fantastik Original All Purpose Cleaner, suggested by the government of Canada as well as, Lysol Disinfecting Wipes)
- Hand sanitizer will be available and we encourage participants and staff to sanitize their hands regularly throughout the session (Brand: Kleen RX Hand Sanitizer Gel – 70% Alcohol – Health Canada Approved – Medical Grade)
- In an effort to reduce the spread of germs, each participant will receive their own workshop kit. Participants will take their kits home with them at the end of the series
- Props & costume pieces will be sanitized after each use
- If at any point throughout the series, a participant becomes ill or is feeling symptomatic of any illness, they will be asked to stay home
- All Staff have access to a First Aid kit (within our Health & Safety Bin*) on-site and have been trained in the event of an emergency
