Purple carrots symbolize being different, not less. For centuries, carrots were naturally purple, but when the orange variety became more common, purple carrots started to seem unusual. And yet, their uniqueness didn't make them less nourishing or less valuable—it made them special. This story is a beautiful metaphor for the disability community, where difference should be celebrated, not diminished.
